In 1836 the Boston and Maine railroad built a line from Haverhill to Plaistow and reached East Kingston in 1840. In 1859 passenger service arrived in full and a new station, this one, in 1869 to replace one that had been across the street. Plaistow had three depots in the 1800s: one at Main St., one in Westville near the present Rte. 125 overpass, and one near the Atkinson border. Only this one survives.
You can find the Plaistow Depot at 155 Main St, Plaistow, NH 03865 (coordinates 42°50'22.4"N 71°05'44.3"W).
