Here you can find pictures of the MEC 1055 an Alco S-4.
The S-4 series was built between June 1950 to January 1961, weighs 229,700 lbs and uses a 4-cycle Model 539 6L diesel prime mover that develops 1000 hp, and 72,400 lbs @ 30% of tractive effort, and carries 635 gallons of fuel. My thanks to The Diesel Shop for the information.
