The current operator of the Rockland branch is the Central Maine & Quebec, and operates freight service only from Brunswick to Rockland with their own engines.
This line was built as the Knox & Lincoln in 1872. Originally it started at Woolwich, on the other side of the Kennebec from Bath and went to Rockland.
