ST and PanAm Railways Pictures by Engine

These are the current types of engines that PanAm runs.

Since the SD40s and C40-8's are six axle units and the railroad has had maintenance problems on the branch lines from sending past rigid frame six axle units up the branch lines PanAm is reluctant to send any six axle units up the branch lines and has them usually run between East Deerfield and Waterville. They are only sent up the branch lines if no other power is available and then only as far as necessary. The C40-8s usually even stay west of Rigby.
